cnsa associate delegate

Ashmeet Hunjan

My name is Ashmeet and I am a first-year student here at Bloomberg and I am super excited and nervous to begin my journey of becoming a nurse. A bit about me, I have a BSc in Life Science and a MSc in medical sciences from McMaster University. I absolutely love socializing, voicing my opinion, advocating, and generally spreading positivity. Having said that I am applying or the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA) Associate Delegate because this position perfectly resonates with who I am and what I want to do! As a CNSA delegate I would be representing and advocating for Bloomberg nursing students across Canada. My aim would be to support the students, listen to their concerns and be their voice. I have always held great passion for helping and supporting students. In the past I have been involved in multiple student organizations and mentorship programs that allowed me to gain a passion for student representation. In addition to that, while completing my research based Master’s degree, I also had the opportunity to attend multiple conferences and work in collaboration with a team of scientists to help our studies move forward. I am confident that I have the right skill, mindset to be a good CNSA delegate. My aim will be to always demonstrate professionalism, help Bloomberg create connections with other organizations, and advocate for nursing and importance of nursing research.
