JAEMAELA DEL ROSARIO

Hi, my name is Jaemaela (some of you may know me as Jae) and I am running to be the NUS mentorship coordinator. After experiencing the ups and downs of this school year, I want to share my experiences with our incoming first year students to ensure their smooth transition into our program. As the mentorship coordinator for a student club in my previous degree, I have developed the organizational and interpersonal skills needed to successfully assume this position. More importantly, having been both a mentor and a mentee, I have seen the value of having a mentor (and a friend) in any point of an individual's life. Consequently, I am passionate about continuing NUS’ mentorship initiatives to ensure that our future colleagues are offered the support and resources that they need to succeed as they journey into the field of nursing.

If elected, I hope to work with NUS and with our cohort to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for our future colleagues.
